If you only browse
You can read companies and paste a public policy URL without an account. We store the URL you submit long enough to fetch and grade the page. We keep a snapshot of that public document so we can compare later versions.
Page views
We use Vercel Analytics to count visits. It is a first-party script. It does not set an advertising cookie and we do not sell that data.
If you sign in
Signing in uses Clerk. That sets a session cookie so we know it is you. We store the companies you save, whether you tapped “I accepted these terms,” and your notify preference. When a watched policy changes, we add an in-app notice and a News post. We are not sending email yet.
Cookies
Necessary: a session cookie only after you sign in. Optional tracking cookies: none. The page-view script does not require you to accept a marketing cookie. You can keep using the public directory without signing in.
What we do not do
We do not run ads. We do not sell your list of companies. We do not watch the Agree button on another company’s site.
